Between JPY and JGB yields, which do you think Bessent & Co. are keeping an eye on more closely?

Where do you see JGB yields going if LDP gain 310 seats or more?

Robin, i agree w the premise but is it slightly more complex than this ? yen depreciation didnt start with boj buying (QE) + high debt levels, its happening as a consequence of 1. less buying from boj (removal of buyer) 2. more fiscal post election and now another election 3. thoughts that boj are behind the curve vis a vis inflation.

Yen depreciation would stop if the boj hiked faster, U-turn on fiscal, Vol falls in JGB market allowing lifers to come in ?
