This is THE question for all investors in financial markets to consider. Are we in a Global Debt crisis, or is one developing here?

I use Bayesian Priors and update every day using a model of mine. At the moment I have Japan as just over 50% as being the trigger, USTs as 20% and an EU bond blow up to do with the illegitimacy of the ECBs Bond Spread control as 20% with 10% another as yet unknown problem. Obviously these priors depend on one's model & I try to use the FTPL with the key variable being a County's political ability to cut the deficit. Hence the US being at 50% as both Parties are equally irresponsible. Japan has political will but a lot of liabilities in one place and assets elsewh6, and the EU is beyond belief in terms of the Fiscal crutch that the ECB is using to support Greece, Italy, France and Spain. Ultimately this is about deficits & politics & it doesn't help when both sides support an illegal war, that is being lost (applies not just to Iran but Ukraine too). At least Japan isn't in a war (yet).

Italy & France: the Bear Stearns & Lehman Brothers of the GSDC (Great Sovereign Debt Crisis). But France won't (be allowed to) default again on its debt (the 12th time since the 16th century) and Italy won't be 'acquired' by, say, Switserland.
